The best way to taste the flavor of a good Olive Oil is to create a Pinzimino. The simple flavoring of the oil with coarse sea salt & ground pepper used as a dip for fresh breads & raw vegetables.
Lucille Bates of Lucille's Country Kitchen and former recipient of our Women Helping Women Award has been the key person for getting Bill #A-2274 placed on the floor of the state assembly.
Lucille has been told that a letter writing campaign and a long list of signatures supporting such a bill is needed to get it heard on the floor.
The reason for the Bill is explained here: On October 23, 2009, one of Lucille's daughters was killed in a car accident 6 miles from her home on Route 72, Ocean County. Two of the first non-essential responders took horrific pictures of her gasping for her last breath and mangled. They posted these pictures on the internet before we were notified of her accident. This practice can be stopped, but I need your help.
Senator Christopher J. Connors wrote that he believes that the Bill will pass when presented to the two houses for final passage, barring any amendments that detract from the Bill's overall objective.
The issue now is to send letters and petitions to the chair and tell how important this is to be heard and acted on by our New Jersey Government Officials.
You can print a copy of the petition and collect signatures for this Bill and/or you can write a letter to the following:
Chairman of the Assembly Health and Senior Services Committee
Assemblyman Herb Conaway, Jr.
Delran Professional Center
Building C, Suite 450
8008 Rt. 130North
Delran, NJ 08075
Phone: 856-461-3997
Reference A-2274
Note: Letters should be focused on having A-2274 posted in Committee.
